Alegeus and Jellyvision Partner to Further Simplify Healthcare Spending

Jellyvision, a provider of healthcare reimbursement automation technology through its FlexMinder Division, and Alegeus, the market leader in consumer directed healthcare (CDH) solutions, today launched the second phase of their partnership to improve the healthcare accounts reimbursement process. The partnership enables Alegeus clients to receive automated insurance carrier claim data feeds within the company’s benefit account administration platform – reducing claim-handling costs, eliminating submission errors, increasing debit card substantiation rates, and raising client profitability.

Integrating FlexMinder into the Alegeus solution creates significant efficiencies and costs savings for our clients while giving consumers a simple way to manage their healthcare payments and reimbursements,” said Steven Auerbach, Alegeus CEO. “Above all, our enhanced offering keeps clients ahead of the competition, bridging the gap between health insurance and healthcare payments.

The growth of the partnership follows the acquisition of FlexMinder’s assets by Jellyvision, creator of the interactive employee benefits communications platform ALEX, in December 2016. The second phase of the Alegeus and FlexMinder technology partnership brings a number of improvements, including:

  • Easier accessibility and faster account connectivity: Consumers can access FlexMinder’s technology directly within the Alegeus online and mobile portals. The new interface allows them to quickly connect and manage their plans.
  • 100+ total carrier integrations: The integrated claims solution leverages the FlexMinder technology to bring explanation of benefits (EOB) data directly into the Alegeus platform from eighty percent of the insurance carriers in the U.S. today. This includes medical, dental, prescription and vision insurance plans.
  • No-risk pricing structure: The FlexMinder integration is a no-risk proposition for Alegeus clients, paying only for members that use the FlexMinder service.
Our investment in FlexMinder has been nothing but a positive force in further improving the benefits space,” said Jellyvision CEO, Amanda Lannert. “Since the acquisition, the FlexMinder division has doubled it’s headcount and increased carrier coverage by 20%. We anticipate nothing but continued growth for this strong division of Jellyvision.

Alegeus offers the industry’s most comprehensive and widely used CDH platform, powering nearly 40 percent of the industry’s account-based programs (including FSAs, HSAs, HRAs) and benefit debit cards. For third-party administrators of benefit accounts, FlexMinder’s automation of claims submission, adjudication and reimbursement processes has proven to decrease costs associated with healthcare and benefits payments by 50 percent.

Alegeus and FlexMinder first partnered in February 2014 to improve the costly and fragmented healthcare and benefits reimbursement process. For more information on FlexMinder’s technology, visit www.flexminder.com, and for additional information on Alegeus, visit www.alegeus.com.
